About Me

I am Rebecca-
The moment my husband walks through the door is my favorite time of day. It isn't just because he adds an extra pair of hands to help reign in our toddler, although that is always a bonus, but mostly it is because once he is home that means it is dinner time. Over supper is when I feel the most alive. We all share stories from our day - the highs and lows. We make plans for the evening. We make plans for next week or next month. It is a chance to look back and to look forward- all while safely embraced in the comfort of a delicious meal. For those of you who know me well, you know my propensity to plan things of any size and so that is what this blog will be about. Planning and sharing meals. Planning and experiencing day trips. Planning and carrying out homeschooling with my daughter. But mostly it will center around food especially the highlight of my day – supper time – because even though many days feel pretty long the years are beginning to feel very short and I don’t want to lose sight of the moments that are most important.
